Who processes your data

The data controller for the personal data collected on strabellodesign.it is Mesmerized S.r.l.s., Via Merano 1, 63821 Porto Sant'Elpidio (FM), Italy, VAT number 02436120444, REA FM-269113, PEC alessioserafini95@pec.it. For any question about your data, write to us at hey@strabellodesign.it.

What data we collect and why

  • To complete and ship your order: name, address, email, phone number and purchase details. Payment data is handled directly by the payment provider: we do not see it and do not store it. Legal basis: performance of the contract of sale.
  • To reply to your requests: the data you send us by email or through the contact form. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures or our legitimate interest in replying to you.
  • For tax and accounting obligations: identification and purchase data, kept for the periods required by law. Legal basis: legal obligation.
  • For newsletters and promotional communications, only if you sign up: your email and, where available, your past purchases, to send you content better suited to you. Legal basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
  • For website statistics and advertising: browsing data collected with cookies and similar tools, described below. Legal basis: consent, except for the technical cookies necessary for the website to work.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with those we need to run the store and deliver orders:

  • Shopify, the platform the store is built on, which also handles payments by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay;
  • Klarna, if you choose to pay with Klarna;
  • the couriers who deliver the parcel (BRT in Italy), to whom we disclose the recipient's name, address and phone number;
  • Base, the management system connected to the store that we use for the catalogue and orders;
  • Klaviyo, for promotional emails, and Keeper, to remind you of a cart left unfinished;
  • the statistics and advertising tools listed in the cookie section;
  • our accountant, for tax and accounting obligations;
  • public authorities, when required by law.

Where your data goes

Some of these providers are based, or have servers, outside the European Union, for example in the United States. In these cases the transfer takes place only with the tools provided for by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep your data

  • Order data and tax data: 10 years, as required by tax and civil law.
  • Data for promotional communications: until you withdraw your consent.
  • Browsing data and cookies: for the duration indicated by each tool, and in any case no longer than necessary for the purpose.

Cookies and tracking tools

Cookies are small files that the website saves on your device. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept or reject non-technical cookies: rejecting is as easy as accepting. Statistics and advertising tools are used only with your consent.

  • Technical (always active): Shopify cookies needed to make the website work, keep your cart and complete payment.
  • Statistics: Shopify Analytics (visits and purchases on the website) and Hotjar (click maps and session recordings, to understand where the website is unclear).
  • Advertising and marketing: Google (Google tag for Google Ads and Google Merchant Center), TikTok Pixel, Pinterest Tag and Klaviyo, which are used to measure campaigns and to show you Strabello Design ads on those platforms; GoAffPro, which records whether you arrived via a link from one of our affiliates.
  • Store features: tools that show offers and purchase suggestions on the website (UFE, Hextom) and Klarna's messages about paying in instalments.

You can change your mind at any time: if you delete the website's cookies from your browser settings, the banner will ask for your consent again on your next visit. You can also block cookies from your browser, although some website features may not work.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time, by writing to hey@strabellodesign.it:

  • to see what data we hold about you (access);
  • to correct it if it is wrong or incomplete (rectification);
  • to delete it, where the law allows (erasure);
  • to restrict its use, in certain cases (restriction);
  • to receive it in a format you can take elsewhere (portability);
  • to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest or for marketing (objection);
  • to withdraw a consent you have given, without affecting what was done before the withdrawal.

If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).

How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational security measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss or disclosure.

If we change the way we process your data or the tools we use, we will update this page and, where required by law, inform you directly.
