Liquorice Jar

A liquorice allsort, the yellow one with the black centre, blown up until it becomes a jar. The lid has the dark spiral in relief, the yellow is bold and cheeky: on the kitchen shelf or the bathroom counter, you can spot it from across the room.

Nine centimetres by nine, six tall: just the right size for sweets, rings, hair ties, cotton pads or paper clips. Made of dolomite, with a lid that simply rests on top. One of those things that make people ask "where did you get that?".
