Washing up with a gnome is a whole different story. Beardy is a kitchen brush: his red hat is the handle, his white beard is the bristles.
Put a couple of drops of washing-up liquid in a bowl of water, dip the beard and scrub plates, vegetables and pans. When he’s done he goes back to rest on his little blue dish next to the sink, where he looks like he’s there just for decoration.
