A floor lava lamp standing 75 cm tall: silver base, clear liquid and big blobs of red wax rising and falling at their own unhurried pace.
Put it in a corner of the living room, in the bedroom or in the hallway and it instantly becomes the centrepiece of the room, with that warm glow and hypnotic movement straight out of the Seventies.
A gift for anyone who has just moved house and wants a piece nobody will ever forget.
