These doormats are made of 100% natural coconut fibre, obtained from coconut shells through a process that reduces waste. Each doormat uses about 25 coconut shells, left to soak in coastal lagoons and then worked by hand to extract the fibre.
Each doormat is painted, coloured and left to dry in the sun. The non-slip PVC base helps keep it stable and firmly in place during use.
