- Each doormat is made using the fibre of around 25 coconuts
The coir fibres are worked by hand and fixed to the backing with adhesive. So it's normal, especially at first, for a few fibres to come loose. The paint keeps its definition well over time, but prolonged exposure to sun, rain and wear can cause slight fading.
To keep the doormat in good condition, clean it dry only, with a brush. Don't use water and don't put it in the washing machine.
